By far the cheapest ferry operator is Speedferries operating Dover to Boulogne, a 50 minute crossing 4 times a day. We can personally vouch for their excellent service.

By Tunnel: The channel tunnel had become a cost-effective option nowadays. We have many guests who have been very pleased with the service.

By Train: You can get a TGV train direct from Paris to Angouleme (just 20 mins North of us). Journey time is around 2h30m.
