Changed booking terms due to Covid-19

We recognise that these are very worrying times for us all, and we, like many small family run businesses, appreciate each customer more than ever right now.

Understandably though, many of us have concerns around Covid-19. We want to work with our guests as closely as possible on this, so we would like to propose the following:

Due Date for Remaining Balance Payment Delayed

We have delayed the due date when the remaining balance is due from 10 weeks down to 2 weeks prior to arrival at the property for the 2020 season.

Covid-19 Free Exchange Scheme

We have also committed that, should any client who has booked and paid in full to stay at the property between 2 May 2020 - 30 September 2020 and have to cancel the stay for the reasons listed below, we will allow clients to re-book alternative dates anytime between their original booking date and the end of the 2021 season (subject to availability) at no extra charge*:

  • following a member of their party or immediate family (defined as spouse/co-habiting partner, child or parent) being infected or quarantined due to Covid-19
  • their home country/city being subject to a quarantine order due to Covid-19 on the dates of the clients planned stay
  • the accommodation itself being subject to a quarantine order due to Covid-19 for the dates of the clients planned stay

*A supplement will apply if the client should choose to rebook on alternative dates that are priced higher than the price previously paid. In order to benefit from the free exchange scheme, clients will need to provide official documentation such as a doctor's note etc. and evidence that their travel insurance company has been unable to refund them. Cancellation must be notified in writing at least 72 hours prior to the standard check-in time on the first day of the proposed holiday.
